MERA, TERRASTONE SIGN MK6.9BILLION OFFICE COMPLEX AGREEMENT

Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) and construction company, Terrastone Limited on Friday, 28th April 2017 signed a contract agreement to officially commence the construction of a six storey MERA office complex. The signing ceremony took place in MERA Boardroom.

In his remarks, MERA Board Chairperson Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Bvumbwe said MERA is delighted to put pen to paper to the agreement and urged Terrastone Company to ensure quality and timeliness of the project.

Terrastone Managing Director Jose Costa signed on behalf of the company while Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ishmael Chioko signed for MERA.

The six storey building will cost Mk6.9billion and is expected to be completed in 2019.
